DiCaprio,

Hundreds of Anime/Asian obsessed/RTF major boys just lost their “street cred”. Get ready for whines of “The original was much better” and “It just doesn’t translate well IRL". Gag.
Warner Bros. to Remake Enter the Dragon

Are you kidding me?!? You can't mess with the original!
When driving alone, what do you do? Sing along to the radio? Think about your day? Something else?

Sing it loud! Sing it proud!
What was your worst hairstyle decision ever?
Bangs. Curled under bangs. Why didn't anyone stop me?
Sex, With Consequences – NYT
http://www.nytimes.com/2007/06/03/weekinreview/03kennedy.html
I thought that I was going to write the great American novel about late bloomers and virginity. I've already missed the naïve-writer/editor/intern-in-the-big-city genre. Dang. What will me my magnum opus now?!?
Want to know what, exactly, the Texas Ledge did this session? Here’s a peak at some of the stuff that happened:
An Uprising Squelched and a Budget in Place, Texas Legislators Head Home to Recover –NYT
http://www.nytimes.com/2007/05/30/us/30texas.html
This is not at all complete, but it’s a good place to start. I’ve already received several emails from all of the non-profit/lobby groups (i.e. NARAL, Equality Texas, PETA, Working Families, ASPCA, etc., etc., etc.) about their accomplishments and things to work on for the next session. I’m just going to assume that you’ve received info from all of those groups too.
Feel free to add links to better, more robust stories on this session in the comments if you are so inclined.
Death by Veganism – NYT
This is extremely frustrating. The author opens about ignorance playing a key part in the death of this poor child, but then continues to present uninformed information about the reality of raising a vegan child. I’m not the best person to ask about such things since I’m not a parent and have not studied up on the nutrition of children. If I were, I would write a nasty letter to the editor. It’s just irresponsible to exploit the death of a child by writing an uninformed article. All this article does is make sure that every woman, no matter what diet, feels guilty for not providing the "bes"t food/environment for their child.
What is the most creative gift you have ever given or received?
Submitted by Nacwolin.
This past Christmas, I made Brea an Advent calendar. I filled it with little toys and flip books and tea. I figured that she needed something a little extra special since she lives out in LA and doesn't have the joy of seeing me all of the time ;)
One year, Alyx gave me a picture that she painted of a lotus. She knows how much I love lotus blossoms, so that was a really cool gift.
